The Rotary International theme this year is “Unite for Good,” and our District Governor Alex Parajon has a superheroes theme. In true Wilshire Rotary form, we “Do Good & Have Fun” and are uniting to honor our Wilshire Rotary Superheroes.
It is with great excitement that we invite you to participate in a very special event. We have some pretty spectacular superheroes we want to thank and honor and need every Wilshire Rotarian to join in this effort.
On Friday, October 24, 2025 the Wilshire Rotary Club of Los Angeles will celebrate Wilshire Rotary Heroes at a Gala at the Wilshire Country Club. We will be honoring our own Jane Gilman and William and Karla Ahmanson for their contributions to our community. You will soon receive an invitation to this event which will include all of the details.
The gala will be a fundraiser for our club, and we are asking for your help! Please consider helping in the following ways as all funds raised go to help Wilshire Rotary to continue the wonderful work we do in the community:
- Plan to attend the event
- Invite your friends and colleagues and sponsor a table of 10
- You or your company can be a sponsor of the event. All sponsors will be highlighted in the event program. If you would like to be a sponsor, please fill out the sponsor section on the attached form.
- Donate or secure a silent auction item(s). Some Items that have been popular in the past are vacation homes, hotel stays, airline tickets (maybe you have miles you can’t use), restaurant gift cards, gift cards to your favorite stores, sporting event tickets, bottles of wine for gift baskets, events at your home, and anything else you think people might want. Please complete the attached form if you would like to donate.
- Buy an ad in the program and ask your network/ company to advertise.
