I'm not sayin' Prez Pearl has a "problem," but she sure knows all the good happy hours! And Wilshire Rotary is on yet another excursion to one of Prez Pearl's top picks!
The Prince Restaurant and Bar has been a filming location for everything from Mad Men to New Girl because of its instantly understandable classic red leatherette decor and vibe. As old school as it looks with an old school happy your to boot, this place is actually locally famous for its fresh take on Korean-style deep fried chicken. In LA, worlds collide and the result is FUN!
Happy hour prices run till 8 pm and they are a steal. Come join in and help celebrate the spirit of Rotary.
Our Mad Men Happy Hour at the fabulous Prince will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2015, from 6-8 pm. Stay for dinner if you'd like or grab a bite at the bar during happy hour. Due to filming at the Ebell, there will be no regular lunch meeting that day. This happy hour takes the place of our previously scheduled event on the 18th which is now canceled.
The address is 3198 1/2 W 7th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90005, cross-street Catalina. Street parking or private garages only, the restaurant normally offers valet as well, bring cash. This might be a good event to Uber, carpool, or Metro too! The restaurant is steps from the RFK School and 3 long blocks from the Normandie Metro station (similar distance from the Vermont Metro.) No-host event, separate checks, Cash, MasterCard, Visa accepted. Attire is LA happy hour work-to-casual.
The Prince will be yet another culinary and libationery adventure for our club and an opportunity to bring old friends, prospects, and new friends to experience a hidden gem and Rotary camaraderie. Who can you invite?
