Hello Wilshire Rotary and Friends -
Words cannot express how grateful I am to our club, our wonderful sponsors, and our generous community for making our first ever Snow Day event possible. We made it snow on Larchmont and supported our cause to Give-a-Gift to Santa so those less fortunate have the opportunity to have a brighter holiday. What a way to SNOWBALL this event where the community can get involved and have some fun doing so. We hope everyone enjoyed the sledding, the snow area with dancing snow dog and snow bear, the Salvation Army brass band, Troop 10's baked goods and drinks, the raffle, the photo booth, and Santa! A total of 206 toys were collected and will be distributed to Red Shield Center, Boys & Girls Club, and South Central Church. Thank you!
The annual Salvation Army bell-ringing competition of Rotary against the Lions Club continues. Current status is Wilshire Rotary $551 and Lions Club at $904. Please help donate via the following link before Dec 21 to not only raise funds for this great organization but help Wilshire win to competition.

Just in case you need a last-minute gift, a party gift, or a yummy treat for yourself, Larry will have See's Candy available for sale at our next club meeting on Dec 20. A portion of the proceeds goes to our club fundraising efforts, so don't be shy about buying a box or more of See's.
Our tree lot is open at 568 N. Larchmont so please sign up to help at the lot or to bring lunches/ dinners for our workers. Inventory is flying and help selling, tagging trees, watering, and talking about Rotary is needed. This is the final push, so any and all help is needed.
Plenty of opportunities for you to "Do Good. Have Fun" and get involved. For more upcoming events and to check out our pictures go to www.wilshirerotary.org
