This Week At Wilshire Rotary
November 6, 2022
Presidents Message
After the extraordinarily busy month of October, it was nice to have things slow down a bit. Aside from enjoying two fabulous guest speakers on Wednesday, on Saturday it was very rewarding to join numerous other clubs in District 5280 at the Rise Against Hunger food packaging service event in Torrance. Thanks to an extremely well organized system and committed volunteers, we were able to pack over 30,000 meals (each serving up to six people) that will be distributed to people facing hunger throughout the globe.
It's hard to believe we're nearly through 2022! As the holidays approach don't forget to add Wilshire Rotary events and meetings to your calendar - especially Tuesday, December 13th - for our annual Give a Gift to Santa holiday party! Check our website and keep an eye on your emails for details of upcoming events and opportunities for service.
