In Case You Missed It!
District 5280 Picnic
After a two year COVID hiatus, on Saturday the District Picnic was back at the Seaside Lagoon in Redondo Beach. Wilshire Rotarians cheered him on as Captain Christopher Cox paddled us to an admirable 2nd place in the cardboard boat race. Special thanks to Ron Reyes for storing the boat for two years, Andi Ceragioli's husband Damon for the original design/build and for getting the boat back in shape, and to all those who showed up! A great time was had by all!

Wilshire Station
Our August breakfast meeting provided an intro to Senior Lead Officers (SLOs) and set the stage for our happy hour field trip to The Wilshire Station the following week. More than 15 Wilshire Rotarians took a very comprehensive tour of the station and were treated to a real behind the scenes look at its operations. Afterwards, we popped over next-door to The Olive Garden for fellowship, food and festive beverages!
