Look for the weekly Ambassador bulletin every Sunday!
I understand that communication is key, which is why I'm happy to bring back The Ambassador! As Wilshire Rotary's regular bulletin, I'm hoping it will help you stay informed and plan for the events and meetings you don't want to miss. But I need you to do your part too! Sync our website calendar to yours, attend meetings, support events and join the fun! Remember why you became a Rotarian and let's work together to make this the best year ever!

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT LAST WEEK!
BREAKFAST AT TELEVISION CITY was AWESOME and was highlighted with a presentation by Hackman Capital representatives, of the vision for the future of the historic studio. About 30 Rotarians and our guests were treated to an in-depth display of development plans and were encouraged to ask questions. Studio President, Michael Klausman (in center of above photo) shared stories from his decades-long career at CBS, now Television City, and led members on a tour. Mr. Klausman also shared his appreciation of Rotary - while brandishing his own Paul Harris pin and medal!
HOPENET'S TASTE OF LARCHMONT was back last week after their COVID hiatus! Wilshire Rotary has been a long-time sponsor of HopeNet's annual fundraiser. Guests strolled Larchmont Village eating and drinking delicious offerings from participating Larchmont eateries. All proceeds go towards HopeNet's Food Pantry Program which provides free, accessible, and healthy food to anyone who wants or needs it through its network of 12 food pantries. This year we also had Rotarians (shout out to Rob Barnes and Clint Lohr!) and our Larchmont Charter Interactors volunteering at the event!
Give to the Wilshire Rotary Foundation while you shop!
Using Amazon Smile, .5% of every Amazon purchase you make helps support the many projects and non-profits we champion!
An incredible, innovative Rotary Foundation fundraiser co-chaired by our very own Amy Cuomo and Leon Nixon. I want to make sure that Wilshire Rotary is well represented on November 20th and would like to fill at least two VIP tables. Four people at a table, $250 per ticket. PLEASE LET ME KNOW BEFORE SEPTEMBER 30TH IF I CAN COUNT ON YOU TO PURCHASE A SEAT (OR MORE!) AT A VIP TABLE FOR WILSHIRE ROTARY. (email me at joyce@kleifield.com)
If that is not in your budget and you wish to attend, individual seats will go on sale after September 30th - please do attend! Let's not only support the incredible Rotary Foundation, let's show Amy and Leon how much we appreciate their extraordinary efforts and dedication in making this concert a reality!
