Wow! What an incredibly busy, fun week! Starting off with Saturday, October 22nd and the fabulous Polio+ fundraiser/wine tasting event at Amy and Jim Cuomo's home. On Tuesday, it was great to join the Hollywood Club at their Governor's visit luncheon at Pizzeria Vivoli on Sunset Blvd. I'm sorry for those who missed out on our club's Icons of Darkness tour this past Wednesday, given by Rich Correll himself! What an amazing collection coupled with fascinating stories! Wednesday night was a blast with many coming in costume for our District Governor's visit at the very cool Boardner's in Hollywood. They have great drinks, great atmosphere and THE BEST bar food!! Definitely making that a regular place to visit.
The Pumpkin Patch ended strong, selling out on Saturday, two days before Halloween! Many of us, in costume, joined the Cuomo's once again, as they hosted their annual Halloween Party Saturday night. As usual, such fun seeing all the very creative get-ups! And, my goodness, last, but not least.....the week ended with the return of the Larchmont Family Fair with an incredible turnout and lots of people visiting our Rotary Booth. Genius to sell pretzels, Amy! OK - now I'm going to collapse for a while, but not without thanking those Rotarians and friends who consistently go above and beyond, and especially did so this past week - Amy Cuomo, Elsa Gillham, Wendy Clifford, Caroline Stalley, Dan Hodgkiss and Tim Stoler - thanks go to everyone who volunteered, attended and supported all our efforts this month---HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
