Wilshire Rotarians, Immediate Past-District Governor Olivia Patterson Ryans and former first gentleman Robert Ryans, District Governor Nominee Alex Parajon, District Rotary Foundation Chair Karen Greenberg and husband David Henseler along with fellow district 5280 members, friends, families, and guests showed in force to thank our now Immediate Past-President Joyce Kleifield for her 2 years of service to our club.
Joyce gave a heartfelt speech on her 2-year term and thanked each of her board members for all their hard work and dedication under her leadership. Immediate Past-District Governor Olivia shared how Joyce showed up and engaged from the very beginning of President-Elect training all the way through her year. We are so blessed to have her in our club.

Past-District Governor Scot Clifford did the honors of swearing me in along with our 2023-2024 board members. Boy did we promise and swear to a lot of things! I, as President, did solemnly swear to execute the office of President of the Wilshire Rotary Club of Los Angeles, and will, to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend, the Constitution of Rotary International and the bylaws of my club...against all rivals foreign and domestic among other club duties. Sounds a bit daunting but I am ready and willing and so excited for our year.
