Hello Wilshire Rotary and Friends -

This past Wednesday, Nov 22 was the annual Thanksgiving Bag Stuffing with Big Sunday at Baldwin Hills Elementary School. We had several members and friends, including Jim Moss, in attendance to help stuff bags for our community and neighbors in need. Mayor Karen Bass also lent a hand at the event.

See's Candy forms have been emailed and are due this coming Wednesday. It's a great way for you to get some early holiday shopping in for your family, friends, co-workers, teachers and even your delivery person. Let Larry know if you need another form or need him to resend one to you. Submit your completed forms back to Larry at gillhamcpa@gmail.com by this Wed, Nov 29. Candy will be ready for pick up on Dec 1.

Our club Holiday Party will be this coming Saturday, Dec 2 at the Gillham residence starting at 5pm. Wear your festive holiday sweaters and bring a wrapped white elephant gift of $15 value. Please RSVP to Elsa or register online ASAP so we can give a head count to the caterer.

Next week our club meeting will be held at the Anderson Munger YMCA due to a function at the Ebell on Wed, Dec 6. Lunch is available for $20 and the Ronald McDonald House and Van Ness School will be speaking to us. Please RSVP online so we can order lunches accordingly.

Our tree lot is open at 568 N. Larchmont so please sign up to help at the lot or to bring lunches/ dinners for our workers. It's a wonderful way to ring in the holiday season and support our club and international projects via our Wilshire Rotary Foundation and Rotary International Foundations.

Give-a-Gift to Santa event on Sunday, December 10 on Larchmont with SNOW and merriment all around. Mark your calendars and support our signature project by bringing a gift for Santa to distribute to needy kids. Event will be directly across from our tree lot at Page School from 12N-5pm.

Plenty of opportunities for you to "Do Good. Have Fun" and get involved. For more upcoming events and to check out our pictures go to www.wilshirerotary.org
