I’ve just returned from my second in-person District Conference. The first was last year’s in Lake Arrowhead and this one was in gorgeous Indian Wells. I think one thing we can all agree on is that Rotary and the Rotary Foundation are somewhat complex. The great thing about the District Conference is that it provides such a valuable opportunity for you to build a deeper understanding of the depth, the breadth and the impact of this amazing organization. Building your Rotary knowledge is one major benefit but being able to meet fellow Rotarians from all over the District while having a heck of a lot of fun is the cherry on top! LOCATION: meet at the Metro parking structure on La Cienega and Exposition Blvd. You can park there and will be provided with a free TAP card for the tour.

Zoom Meeting with Jennifer Newton/Outkast Academy
Jennifer shared the amazing journey she has had building The Outkast Academy (TOA). This important organization serves some of our most vulnerable youth.
Providing mentors, support in the Arts, Fitness programs and Academic tutoring, TOA has had a huge impact in the lives of the young people it has served over the last 10 years.
