This past Wednesday, March 27, we had our club lunch meeting at a very busy Ebell. Our program was the Pageant of the Arts: Art Competition. We had 2 very talented young women from Immaculate Heart High School showcase their creations. Danika Gorak was our winner and will proceed to District 5280 contest as Wilshire Rotary's Art candidate.
This Wednesday, April 3, we are back at the Ebell to honor Laurie James, Associate Vice President Cooperation Partnership at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. She has a very special talk to share with us on the work being done at Children's Hospital, so please come support her and hear what she has to share. District 5280 Pageant of the Arts contest will be held on Saturday, April 13. Wilshire Rotary is sponsoring 3 candidates who won our Art, Music Vocal and Music Instrumental club contests.
