The PUMPKINS are here! Come to our Wilshire Rotary Pumpkin Patch on Larchmont and enjoy the start of the holiday season with the most beautiful display of pumpkins, skeleton pic opps, a super cool maze, cotton candy, popcorn, and games. Always a good time to see the smiling faces of both kids and adults, so come on by and get your pumpkins and volunteer to help. 568 N Larchmont Blvd.
Today, we had our Food on Foot service project where we handed out food, drinks, and treats to about 250 needy neighbors in our community. Rob Barnes, Clint Lohr, Janice/ Jake/ Kelsey Prior, and Luke Genewick along with 5 Larchmont Charter Interactors participated in this very rewarding day.
Our next club meeting is Wednesday, October 18 at 12N and will feature our Club Pageant of the Arts Speech Candidates. We have several schools presenting so please come to hear these articulate students.
We will also have a club OKTOBERFEST fundraiser at Bruce & Heidi Strriegel's home. They will have authentic German fare and lots to drink. Bust out that lederhosen and dirndl to wear for a WUNDERBAR night out. Donations of $50 per person suggested as we are raising money for our club projects and activities, and this is a fun way to do so. You can't go out to dinner and drinks and Oktoberfest to boot for less. Come join us October 21 at 7pm. You must RSVP to attend via registering on our website or let Amy know so we can get an accurate headcount.
Another reminder to please vote AYE or NAY on the updated Club Bylaws and Constitution sent to all members via email. I have less than half the club that has voted and need at least 2/3 to pass these changes.
