Hello Wilshire Rotary and Friends -
The annual Salvation Army bell-ringing competition of Rotary against the Lions Club continues. Current status is Wilshire Rotary $1,740 and Lions Club at $904. However, the Lions are promising a "big check" to go in this week, so we have to keep it going. Please help donate via the following link before Dec 23 to raise funds for this great organization and help Wilshire win the competition.

Our final lunch meeting of 2023 will be at the Ebell this Wednesday at 12N. Tim Stotlar from our tree lot will talk to us about his experience of working at our lot all these years and what it means. Daphne Brogdon, television personality and standup comic, will also speak to spread holiday cheer and fun.
Larry has boxes of See's Candy available for sale at our next club meeting on Dec 20 at the Ebell. A portion of the proceeds goes to our club fundraising efforts, so don't be shy about buying a box or more of See's.
This is the final week for our tree lot at 568 N. Larchmont so please sign up to help at the lot or to bring lunches/ dinners for our workers. Inventory is flying and help selling, tagging trees, watering, and talking about Rotary is needed. Any and all help is welcome.
