Not only do we have a fascinating speaker lined up this week, we have a special project lined up as well! We ARE a service organization, but it is often very difficult to arrange our personal schedules to get out to service projects........so, thanks to our fabulous Community Service Co-Chair, Angel Amezquita we will be bringing a service project to you at our Ebell luncheon this week!
I think we can all agree that members of our senior citizen community often exist feeling alone and forgotten. Holidays can be especially hard for them. With Valentine's Day just around the corner, Angel is bringing all the materials we need to create personal letters of love, warmth and encouragement to this special segment of our society. After the letters have been created, they will be delivered to various facilities serving seniors. If you want to participate in the delivery, please let Angel know, but do show up on Wednesday for a great lunch, a great speaker and to participate in this simple, but impactful service project that is sure to "inspire hope"!

WEDNESDAY LUNCH AT THE EBELL
ADAM HELLER
"Zero Pain Now"
JOIN US FOR LUNCH AT THE EBELL TO HEAR FROM ADAM HELLER ABOUT HIS ULTIMATE “CHRONIC PAIN” RELIEF SOLUTION......
an integrated and clinically tested global program developed with the latest scientific research and evidence-based outcomes, with doctors, coaches and online content.
Our Zoom meeting was with Rose Tatum of ENGin. Rose provided us with excellent information about their mission of pairing Ukranians, especially those affected by the war right now, with people in the US to help them build English proficiency.
The pairings help on two levels:
On an individual level, they equip students and young professionals to access academic and professional opportunities.
On a national level, they connect Ukraine with the world, spurring economic growth and social progress.
If you are interested in volunteering to be a mentor for a young Ukrainian - all it takes is one hour a week for a minimum of 12 weeks! For further info: https://www.enginprogram.org/
