Presidents Message
Last week's zoom speaker, Jeff Barnes, presented us with some real food for thought. Not only did he regale us with some fascinating and little known history of Walt Disney and his kingdoms, but he inspired us to never stop dreaming no matter what the odds. As Rotarians we are called upon to step in and step up to help address some of our communities most difficult challenges. With that kind of a commitment, we must especially continue to dream of a better, more equal, more just world. The dream enables us to take the action required to see that progress is made in that direction. Never stop dreaming and always remember that, as Rotarians, We Are People of Action!

Waymo Self-Driving Cars
Join us Wednesday morning to hear about this fascinating next step into the future. Waymo is an autonomous driving technology company operating a fully autonomous public ride-hailing service -- meaning that you can hail a ride and an empty vehicle with no human driver comes and picks you up and takes you to your destination. Waymo recently announced Los Angeles as their third ride-hailing market (the other two are San Francisco and Phoenix).
You may have already seen the Waymo vehicles in our neighborhood!
