Women in Law Enforcement

Captain Julie Rodriguez leads LAPD’s Wilshire Division, overseeing 275 officers and supervisors. Since joining LAPD in 1996, she has served in patrol, vice, and Robbery-Homicide Division investigations, including sexual assault cases. She holds a master’s in Law Enforcement and Public Safety Leadership from the University of San Diego, is an FBI National Academy graduate, and serves as President of NAWLEE.
