Our annual wine/cocktail weekend is being held in Riverside, CA where we have the opportunity to visit the organic farm of Christopher and Tamra. Join in the fun along the way with lunch in Claremont, a cocktail or glass of wine in Victoria Garends in Rancho Cucamonga and a stay at the all-suite Hyatt Place in downtown Riverside. We will also visit the historic Mission Inn in Riverside, and enjoy Mexican food and drink at the farm on Saturday. Brunch en route home on Sunday will conclude our fun weekend. Learn more about the inland empire, with a rich history and plenty of fun to be had for all. Contact Amy if you wish to participate in some, or all, of these activities! |

Talk Details: Many of you have likely heard of frameworks like EOS, Scaling Up, and eMyth. These systems are powerful, but the reality is many organizations still fall short of becoming as strong and effective as they need to be. Why is that? How does their purpose suffer? What can be done, today? In this talk, he will share something you haven’t heard before—a fresh perspective on the gaps that hold teams back and how to overcome them. I won’t just offer ideas; I’ll hand you the keys—a practical checklist you can take with you—to strengthen your Business or Organization’s Operating System immediately, with or without a coach. For Rotary clubs, these principles go beyond business. They’re about building stronger teams and leaders who can amplify their service, inspire their communities, and create greater impact. Participants will leave with:
We will have more details about our presenter in the coming weeks. However, please consider registering as we have space for 250 Rotarians.

In this presentation, Regional Membership Officer of Rotary International, Angela Lopez, will talk about why it’s more important to be curious about people over merely being friendly. True connection comes from actively engaging with others and showing a genuine interest in who they are. How can we use curiosity at meetings to learn about guests? How can being curious about others impact membership? Being curious isn't just a skill to use for club development, it's something you can use in personal and professional situations to build stronger relationships. https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/9nnEOYZLTFe0Cxu0O3QmGQ#/registration

It’s that time, when we call on your support to continue our Foster the Love event, which provides essential items and joy to foster youth. Last year, over 100 volunteers; from 25 Rotary Clubs, Rotaractors, Interactors, and community members, came together, and this year we need your help to make an even bigger impact
District 5280 Community Service Event :
Most foster children are moved 14 times on average, and often have to carry their belongings
in trash bags. By supporting our event, you can help provide Sweet Case duffel bags, filled with a blanket, teddy bear, coloring book, and hygiene kit, giving them something of their own to carry. We’ll also assemble bicycles and skateboards to offer these kids transportation and a sense of childhood joy. Da Vinci High School

High school students, on the brink of adulthood, have so many talents! The Pageant of the Arts is a competition that encourages them to develop, hone, and display these talents for all to appreciate.
The 5 Arts that comprise the Pageant are Music-Instrumental; Music-Vocal; Art (2-dimensional or 3-dimensional); Dance, and Speech.
Each contest is judged by experts in their fields.
The First Place in each contest receives a $1,000 cash prize; Second Place $500; and Third Place $250.
Each Rotary club in District 5280 may send one contestant each for Art or Speech, and soloists or groups for Dance and Music. These may be the winners of contests at the club, or simply nominated.
